The Space:
This beautiful historic home is absolutely stunning on the outside and inside. Outside features wrap-around porch that is great to relax on. There is also an awesome shaded backyard and the full property is fenced, which makes it ideal if you have a dog. There is also a covered shed for parking if you need it. Charcoal grill makes perfect for backyard BBQ
Inside, the first floor features gorgeous foyers and grand hallways with restored heart pine floors and transom that are just stunning! Restored church pew in main hallway.
The living room has two couches, one of which is a futon, a 50" TV with Roku, wifi, and board games.
The Formal Dining room seats 8-10. And there is also an eat-in kitchen with 4x bar stools. The kitchen features a double oven, new stove top, and new stainless steel diswasher and over-sized double door refrigerator and freezer. Kitchen includes coffee maker, microwave, and all basic pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plateware, and glassware.
Off the kitchen is a sitting area with another futon and then a pool table. There is also a utility room with large front-load washer and dryer.
There is one half bath downstairs under the stair.
The master bedroom with a King Bed is on the ground floor if people cannot use stairs.
A formal wrap-around staircase leads upstairs to 4x large bedrooms with ornate fireplaces. Master is a King with en-suite bathroom. The other three BRs share another full bath. BR 2 is also a king bed. BR 3 has 2x full beds. BR 4 has 2x twin beds.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the full house and property! self-check-in with a door code, and alarm code that we provide. As a result, you can come and go as you please to provide maximum leisure, privacy, and security.
The Neighborhood:
This is a transitioning neighborhood. The house has a gated yard/driveway, and an alarm system monitored by ADT. Across the way is a shelter that also serves meals to the homeless, so there can be foot traffic around the house in the morning and around lunch time.
Occasionally, previous guests have told us that they do not like our neighborhood. We think it is great, and have never had any security issues, but we understand that everyone has different experiences and want to make sure you are comfortable in our home. If you are concerned about the neighborhood, we would be happy to talk with you about it, and refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking.
Getting Around:
We recommend you bring a car, but you can take an uber or cab for sure. It is not walkable to downtown (about 1.7 miles).

Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
